Incorporating RSS Feeds

Activate the “WordPress RSS shortcode” to include headlines from an RSS feed. This works the same as it would in a WordPress post or page.

Example:

[rsstag url=”http://www.informationweek.com/thebrainyard/rss/” show_summary=1 show_date=1 show_author=1]

Renders as:

[rsstag url=”http://www.informationweek.com/thebrainyard/rss/” show_summary=1 show_date=1 show_author=1]

Hey,  I’m a big fan of your plugin, but it is now giving errors.

Fatal error: Call to a member function add_cap() on a non-object in /home/artsygeekdesigns/artsygeek.com/wp-content/plugins/facebook-tab-manager/fbtab.php on line 405

I can’t log into my Dashboard, edit posts…basically I can’t do anything.  I can’t even access the login screen.  I’m working with the most recent version of your plugin and WordPress.

    • I’m very sorry for causing you headaches. One of the WordPress global variables apparently isn’t instantiated in all circumstances. I’m pushing out an update 3.02 that addresses the issue. I hope. Release 3.01 was supposed to fix a related issue. If you’re unable to log in, you may have to access your site by FTP and delete the plugin that way before trying the upgrade. Let me know if this clears up the problem.
